(Lucas)

I agree, it depends on the type of event and how long on the track you're going to be each session.

I rate EBC yellows, and highly rate Project Mu HC.
As mentioned above, hi-temp pads will need a warm up period (couple of laps including tyres warm up) before they reach their best operating temperature range.
Note that these pads are harsh on the rotors (and dusty), and they last longer at the expense of the rotors :)
Re: Brake pads for track??? (EssDub)

If you are doing nothing longer than 10-lap sprints, you wont' find much better than the reds. You need to take into account your driving habits and how you treat your brakes as well, as some people will find the 'warm-up' period unsettling for the first few laps.

More expensive pads are not necessarily better. Case in point - I ran around Malla doing 26s all day, on a set of TRW pads that i'd picked up from a SCA a week prior, lol. Never had to change them again :)
Brake pads for track??? (Carmikey)

What pads do you track guys use?
Im wanting a better pad than EBC REDs, A1RM's, Im thinking of either going for the YELLOW's or ORANGE's if available.

Other option I'm considering is the PRoject MU pads (RC09 Club Racer)..

Can any suggest or recommend what to go for, or what not to go for?
