I had already planned on doing a dry fit. 😊
I've learnt a lot from all my trial and error over the years. Lots and lots of errors!

Re: 3SGTE sump baffles (MCT_MR2)

Just a quick heads up with the moroso sumps (not specifically the 3sgte) is you may have trouble fitting the sump if you wind all of the studs in before you fit it. If you do try, make sure you do a dry fit with no sealant, just in case it wont go on.

Sump looks good, i hope it helps your oil pressure issue, if not maybe look into a 1 quart accusump.

Re: 3SGTE sump baffles (Admin)

Here's my new sump

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9VU60ErlTc
Re: 3SGTE sump baffles (MCT_MR2)

They are designed for circuit racing, if you dont pick one of their drag sumps bradm. Plus the extra capacity and the fact they are designed to hold the oil around the pickup is better than a stock sump. Plus they are more rigid than a standard sump, which does your main bearings a favour.

Re: 3SGTE sump baffles (Admin)

I have it here. I can run more oil in the engine to counter this though I will also be baffling the sump to be safe.
Do any of you have any DIY designs for 3SGTE sump baffles that have been proven to work?
I want to make sure if the engine does ever get a little bit low on oil, the pickup can still get enough oil.
Thanks
