Was great to rock up. hadn't seen Tristan for ages so was good to say hi to him again!

Good turn out, shame there weren't a few more AW's!!! haha..

Was good to meet some of the WA mr2 crowd. I've known a few aw11 Perth owners for some time though.

Yeah great turn out on the day and some very nice mr2s still around.

I was pretty happy with my dyno result and was surprised at how loud my car screams at high revs.
210whp with a mines/blitz ecu, stock intercooler, stock turbo, boost at 1 bar (14psi), forged pistons & eagle rods.

Bigger turbo will go on after the wedding (thats if I can still afford it)

Hi Peter

Power looks about right, compared to the last club dyno session we did, back in .... <DRUM ROLL> ..... December 2000!!!!

Here are the results from that day, At Tim Slako's dyno, figures are rear wheel KW. I know absolute figures for dynos vary but it will give people an idea of relative % differences for various cars (which should be comparable regardless of absolute numbers).

AW11 NA - 57kW stock
AW11 NA - 59kW muffler
94 SW20 NA - 93kW stock - tuned for 98 octane from memory
92 SW20 Turbo - 119kW stock
95 SW20 Turbo - 126kW muffler
90 SW20 Turbo - 140kW free flow exhaust, 1 bar boost, high flow turbo

We did have another dyno session also at Slako's where we had more cars, including Tristan's early 3SGTE beast that made about double the power of stock-ish versions. I still remember the cherry red glow of the turbo and manifold after the run. mmmm... toasty goodness. I also did 2 runs in my car on normal and fail safe low boost (Gen2) to see what the power difference was, cant recall the result unfortunately.

I will see if I can dig up the write up in the club mag.

I forgot to say yesterday that my NA SW20 was lowest power of the day.
See attached report.
Tristan reckoned that it is o.k. but.
Others may, (or may not), wish to post their own results.

Hi All,
I reckon that we all enjoyed the day.
Weather was good, but did get a little cold late in the day.
We had 3 x AW11s & about 13, 14, 15, SW20s.
A white AW11 produced largest output of the day.
I have attached a few half-way reasonable photos.
Thanks a lot to Tristan & Keaton, & good to meet other MR2 owners.
