Dear all,

Some of you may remember me from last year when I asked for your help with a new book I was working on, MR2: The Complete Story.
The project turned into a monster. I was asked to deliver 50,000 words plus pictures but the first draft came in at 150,000 words with more than 300 stills. Luckily, I have an understanding publisher and the finished manuscript is a compromise - 80,000+ words and 250 photos.
After more than two years of work, the book was finally published this week.
I'd like to say thanks to everyone who wrote with stories about their MR2, supplied photos, brochures and other materials - or just offered encouragement. Your good wishes (and gallons of instant coffee) kept me going.
I hope the finished tome stands as the definitive story on three classic cars - at least, until Toyota has the good sense to launch a Mk IV.
