Yes but all the other adds have never caused an issue with using the forum, but as soon as that particular add was added to the bottom of the page it made the forum almost unusable on an iPad. Also when your using an iPad you already have a smaller screen to to view the forum then when you add a banner style add to the bottom of the screen you really notice the loss of screen available to view the forum.

Ok cool. Btw ads are what pays for the hosting and software license for this forum.

Yeah it was the graphical add from the bottom of the screen that was causing the issue and I tried both being logged in and logged out and it made no difference.

Now that you have removed the add from the bottom of the screen the forum is working perfectly again on my iPad.

Which ad? I removed the graphical ad from the bottom. Note that this issue only seems to happen on iPad. I don't have one to test with so we'll need to fix this via trial and error. Thanks for your patience.
Are you logged into the forum? There are less ads when you are logged in.

No, not at all!

That add popping up on the screen makes it really hard to type a reply as well because it flashes on and off each time you touch the screen.

Can it just be removed?

Ok so using the iPad for viewing the forum through chrome was the best way as I was not getting any glitches because the add at the bottom of the page didn't appear when using chrome.
Now it has started to pop up in chrome! Has there been changes been made so that the add also pops up in chrome now as well, because if it has it has now wrecked viewing the forum on the iPad.

Can we please get rid of the add from the bottom of the screen please?

I'm still finding it glitching every time I touch the screen to type or scroll. Again this is whilst using it in Safari on the iPad if I switch too chrome it is ok which I think is because it gets rid of the add from the bottom of the page thankfully.

I have found the same problem when viewing the forum through my iPad in desktop format whilst using safari and my iPad is running the latest software update the add at the bottom of the page seems to be causing it to glitch but if I use it in chrome I don't have the problem.

Maybe this doesnt effect all ipad users.

I mainly use the forum via iPad and sometimes via a laptop/desktop and have never had trouble with an ad or loosing data whilst typing. As I write this there is zero lag in typing. At the same time I'm a couple of software updates behind but that should make no difference.

You could always test out with mine if it occurs at some point.

Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately I don't have an iPad to test this so will need you to help me to fix it. When you use the iPad do you see the forum in the mobile format or the full desktop format?

i mostly visit the forum on my ipad and recently have a ad that sits on the bottom of the screen. since it has appeared i have issues with posting to threads, typing is lagging, the box size glitches and then if im posting a few sentences the page freezes and i loose all that i have written and i have to refresh my page!
i have gone onto a few other forums and i dont have the same issues.
im not bothered by the ad at the bottom of the page just what its causing!
