you cant see it when it's in the tie rod.

You can still buy the specific parts from Toyota. I bought all new tie rod pieces last year as mine had play and the inner tubes were crushed, so I did them all.

Yeah I've got severe play in mine as well. I put sika flex in my engine mounts which caused them to fail the defect inspection so I doubt that would pass for the tie rods. :/

I've got a couple pairs somewhere. but all with play. i'll be injecting them with some sika flex to eliminate that. did it to the feral's years ago and seemed to work ok.

Putting my OEM tie rods back now for a vehicle inspection I noticed there's a fair bit of play in them which I've got a feeling they might not appreciate. (Ironic as my rock solid Twos-R-Us rose jointed ones also didn't get their approval).

Does anyone have a spare set of healty OEM tie rods?
