I gave my relay a tap every now and then.. seems to do the trick................ somtimes

Same happened with my first adub, Was just wet relay, took it out used some water dispersant and fixed

Try this for starters...

"Most likely the Headlight Retract Control relay, in the frunk, just beside the wiper motor.
Water gets in usually and causes the headlights to "dance" or "wink."
Common on MK1 and MK2 from what I found. Google "mr2 headlight wink" for videos =)
You can pull it out and see if it is wet.
If so, let the relay and plug/socket dry out and then replace and try it.
I doubt anything else would be the cause, save faulting wiring. If it doesn't stop you will probably have to replace the relay."

When I turn off my headlights a little show starts. My headlights go up and down alternately about six times, then the RH one will stay down with the LH often staying up. Eventually after a few goes, both will stay down.
While it looks funny, does anyone know how to fix it?
