The main reason I changed mine to get rid of some of the mess. I have a different one now to go on that has AN fittings
I never had a Caldina throttle body so just used the MR2 one
Maybe with the boot mount intercooler you could look at getting a manifold from RacerX to suit

This is the fuel rail with the MR2 manifold

This was the problem with the Caldina one

and this is with the bit ground away

Re: Caldina ST215 intake (turbomr2)

Thanks dasic1...nice engine bay set-up I have my charge cooler in the boot, so I have to figure out the route for the plumbing...might have to do what you did with the filler cap... I am also switching to top feed fuel rail, so not sure if I will need to grind as well...Why was the original Caldina Throttle Body not used?

Re: Caldina ST215 intake (P E T E)

What about the Coolant filler? Noticed your not running the standard coolant filler neck....would it interfere here?
Re: Caldina ST215 intake (dasic1)

Mine went straight on but had to grind a little of the manifold to fit the RacerX fuel rail and ID2000. I did not have to modify the accelerator cable just ran it a different way. I used my std gen3 MR2 throttle body but turned it upside down so the blade opens the same way as the Caldina.

Caldina ST215 intake (turbomr2)

Hey Guys! I am contemplating using a ST215 (Caldina) intake on my GEN 3 (ST205) head. I 'believe' that the ST215 has a better intake design for air flow than the ST205....Besides the plumbing to the intake and modding the acc cable, are there any other challenges??? Please provide input/advice...THNAKS IN ADVANCE
