Shifter Vibration (Senol)

I've noticed (or I should say I forgot) that my car makes a hideous buzz in higher RPM through the shifter. What are some common causes for this?

It used to be really sloppy and vibrat-y and I replaced the shifter bushings with brass insert type ones. The vibration noise stayed the same. The sloppiness went away but the BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ remains.

Any help is appreciated before I pull the interior apart.
