A combination of circumstances has conspired to prevent us attending this, my apologies for that.
Louise and I wish all of our MR2 family a safe and Merry Christmas.

An updated list below for everyone. The mystery guests are one from FNQ, plus a (cough, choke) vintage Honda owner related to him. We might also be seeing Wil who isn't on the Forum yet.

Just a reminder that as always its a BYO food and drink with electric cook tops at the site, but for the cooking challenged like yours truly there a couple of excellent take-away shops and cafes close by. Cake for dessert will be provided for all attendees. There is covered seating with tables and free BBQ's for the chefs to use, and we are going to secure the site very early after discussing arrangements with Moreton Bay Council. However, if you do have portable chairs and/or a picnic rug then it would be helpful to bring these along.

Meeting place for those not going directly to the site there is the Shell Service Station at Nudgee off Exit 112 from the Gateway Motorway heading north (we use this meeting point for the All Japanese Day).

Meeting time is 10.00 am for a 10.30am departure. We are going to take a short (40 mins) but very scenic route to the venue so if the weather has cleared as per the Weather Bureau predictions then tops can come off - its a great drive for Spyder owners. There will also be a prize for the best Christmas hats/decorations/Santa Claus impersonations, and a free raffle will be held, plus awards given out from Santa's sack for various activities during the year.

Party Location - for those going direct. Head to Thurecht Parade, Scarborough, and drive north towards the water until you reach the intersection of Thurecht Parade and Third Avenue. Look out for the signs, you won't miss the site. Finding yourself floating in the Bay means you have gone too far. If lost call the President on the number on the Club website.

Ah no not yet, but I'll be sure to ask for it for Christmas ;)! I was going to install a spoiler but it'll need a few more layers of paint which won't get done before Sunday.
