just FYI Guys the wiring Diagram is the EXACT same as the 6G Celica..

i was able to find the diagram for a celica and confirmed the majority of plugs with a multimeter testing continuity from ECU end and plug end

Hi, fyi this turned out to be a problem with the match up of the 1998 wiring with the 1990 at the main fuse box to the circuit opening relay and ecu to run the fuel pump. If anyone does have wiring diagrams for the 1998 Bathurst motor they would still be useful. I think I'm starting to enjoy auto electrics which is a worry!!

I was advised to use a gen3 ecu with the 1998 motor. Its taken some work to get ignition. It will fire, hit just under 2k rpm, run for about 2 seconds and then die. If you try to open the throttle it dies straight away. The wiring on the loom does not match the ecu gen 3 diagrams. I moved the IGF pinout to get it to fire but there are several others that are different, but don't know how critical they are, so was planning on workings through them.... Any help would be awesome.

I am also having this issue - currently fitting a 1998 3sge into a 1990 and cannot find diagrams that match the motor. The Brits refer to this motor as a Rev 4 or Gen 4 (not Beams) and they are definately different to the gen 3, but I can't get hold of diagrams either.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Rick. I could never find a Bathurst wiring digram, despite making a serious effort to do so. I'm not even sure such a thing exists. I certainly haven't seen any evidence of it. I do have some documents that may help though, but I'll email them to you direct.

Does anyone have wiring diagrams specifically for the Bathurst SW20?
The wiring is definitely different to the overseas models.
I have a couple of minor issues to resolve and a diagram would save me tracing wires.
