Got them working. Huge difference.
Before pic : Left the old led bulb in on the fuel gauge side for comparison, looks like it's dead but is in fact lit!

Oh is that it, google told me to do something more complex.

But anyway I used a multi meter instead, continuity mode, it would light up my old leds but not these ones.
It would however light up the individual smd led if I tested it where they were soldered at.

Serious? and you own an Mr2? Consists of a 12v battery & a couple of wires to conduct the test.

There's possibility that all 20 of them are duds :(

Just bought another pair off a local distributor, once received will test them out, then I'll know for sure if first ones are duds or not. Just have to wait till then.

Try testing them on the bench with a 12v power supply, note LED"s polarity contuse

Oh these ones don't have wires, the ones that I got (above pic) have a flat pad/board.

Try adjusting the wires on the bottom to an angled fit. That worked for me.

I bought some leds to replace my blown ones for my dash. Got these type off eBay, took a month to arrive. Tried to install them and they won't work, turned them the other way around and still won't work. Any ideas?

Bought 20 of them. Think I went through half of them then quit.
