Expecting 15 MR2s and 5 non-MR2s for the Bathurst Run tomorrow. A very good turnout and excited to lead the 19th consecutive annual event.

Oh wow it will be interesting having some of these other cars along on the run! Its a pity my partner is away for this run it would have been the perfect opportunity for her to bring the STi along for a drive, she has said before that she wishes she could bring it along on a run.

Bring it along, no one cares if someone shows up in a non MR2.

I'm definetely out. Have a Bucks @ Port Stephens to attend. Will drive my MR2 up at least.

Looks like there will be a great variety of cars on this run. Apart from MR2's there will probably be a WRX, Golf GTI, V8 Camry, MX5 and others and I will be there at this stage in my new Renault Clio RS200 turbo which is a totally different animal to my old MR2 GT N/A that I sold a few years ago & I am still getting used to it.

It will be good to see a few old faces from the club. " />

I grew up riding on all these roads around Rockley, Bathurst and Oberon they were my main training roads when I was a competitive cyclist so know them like the back of my hand, some nice driving roads out there should be a very nice day and am looking forward to it.

It looks like next Sunday's Classic Bathurst Run held by the MR2 Owners Club is shaping up to be an exciting drive on some fabulous roads around Bathurst and Oberon and a few laps around "The Mountain". Let us know if you are intending to come so that I can let the pub at Rockley know numbers for lunch. I have more than a dozen let me know so far. Please be at McDonalds McGraths Hill by 8:15 for the drivers' briefing and have a full tank of fuel for an 8:30 start.
