As I am entry level and will probably send more time at hillclimbs than the track I think I will go for the AD08rs.
Its all a new experience and I love the car. So from here it is all fun.

AD08R is better for hill climbs and mild track. I think you would find them fine with your power level though.

A050's are great and i love them as my track tyres, but when hill climbing i use street tyres as the A050's are not even hot by the finish of the hill climb.

Two very different tyres I know but decisions have to be made.

R spec tyre of choice:
Yokohama a050
will put a smile on your face.
They are best grip/all round tyre in dry or wet with good wear characteristics.

Have just bought a 95 MR2 Bathurst. Love it. Intend to do some hillclimb and track trials. Have two sets of wheels, original and the 17 inch wheels that are on it for the road. Intend to put tyres on the originals for the hillclimb.
Suggestions for the tyre would be appreciated. I have read the forums on tyres and it seems there is not as much choice as I hoped. It also seems there is no definative choice. I'm looking for dry performance. Suggestions please. Are semi slicks an option? I have no experience with them?
