Guys, guys c'mon - no more anger. I felt compelled to respond here. Its tough enough to deal with negativity at work! Isn't this supposed to be a "retreat" where we can come together to share a common love for a beautiful sports car marque? You know I've been searching so long for the sort of MR2 I want & have met with some great people in the process & even though I "still haven't found what I'm looking for" I can still enjoy the "journey" meeting nice people and sharing the love. I understand the sort of car RHOK was looking for and hope he's now found it (I suspect his frustration was fuelling his comment "style") - for me, also, its hard to understand how these beautiful cars are touched in any way other than to bring them back to factory originality (save mechanical option enhancements e.g. LSD) - but as was said in this thread "to each his own". Unfortunately, there's often just one silly post that "lights" the fuse of resentment/anger. I've even had some sarcastic comments levelled at me for asking a few naive questions - but I just let it go. Sellers - please don't get offended if your car is not what the potential buyer wants or wants to pay. Buyers - dont insult sellers by running down their car or its mods or stuff them round if your not interested - just thank the person for their time and explain politely its not exactly what your looking for. People - lets be nice to each other - dont burn bridges - the alternative benefits no one.

Looks like Dudeman can smell them a mile off. RHOK's comments certainly rule out discerning and mature as they are definitely neither of these. As he says he has found a car, I can't quibble with the term "buyer" in his original post so he gets to keep one out of three in his original description of himself.

From an old, immature (why else would I have a 2GR MR2 with Lightning McQueen livery) and maybe gentleman, who has no time for such equel (sic) hatred.

So because your from another part of Europe it makes it okay to throw out a racial slur against Mediterranean people? Call yourself whatever you want, but being Mediterranean myself I find 'wog' quite offensive. Its derogatory and is absolutely unnecessary here. Keep your disdain for another race and how individuals modify their vehicles to yourself.

C'mon xez, don't you realise that's a very rare Limited Edition classic!?! If I'm not mistaken, the styling was a one-off done by a design student from the 'Institute for the Visually & Aesthetically Challenged', which is very kindly sponsored by Brescia Furniture.

I believe the interior was trimmed using donated materials left over from the manufacture of Brescia's 70's range of 'not-quite-albino cow hide' sofas.

So are you looking for a stock turbo MR2 or a modified one? Do you care if its a GEN2 or a GEN3? If modified what kind of modifications do you see as acceptable?
I have a feeling you are looking for a very specific type of MR2. Would the blue alpha bug (or however you spell it) for sale on here interest you?

Lets look at some points in a DISCERNING way :)

"The car has been fully resprayed inside and out using House of Kolour Jet Black and finished off with Candy Gold and Candy Brandy Wine Graphics."

= you will never be able to match the paint/graphics in the event of a accident/scratch etc and the need for repairs, it will also make your insurance premium higher ( if you can get insurance).

"The Interior of this Mr2 has been custom Designed and hand made sporting a full custom made fibreglass interior with hi quality paint work to match the exterior."

= good luck trying to fix/repair anything if it breaks/cracks/gets vanadalised in anyway, basically same issue as the exterior paint/graphics.

"The seats and floors have been given a hi quality beige leather treatment imported from Italy and is so plush an soft, it still smells brand new and is in Unmarked Condition"

= yep take your shoes off or have a supply of medical type disposable shoe slip on covers used in surgery so that you dont get a black mark from the rubber sole of your boots on the beige floors. If you plan to use this as a normal type car to enjoy driving rather than a trailer carried show queen then the interior will get tatty and dirty/marked up very very quickly

"The Massive stereo and entertainment system is truly incredible and is all Hi end Kenwood Items and must be heard and seen to be appreciated, Featuring 4 10inch subwoofers behind the driver and passenger seats, 8 component splits Speakers, 4 interior LCD tv's, A Kenwood Flip out touch screen Tv to control the sound system.. = this stuff with associated wiring and upgrades to power it weighs more than the driver and passenger put together, so who wants more weight in a lightweight sports car - sort of defeats the purpose. No stereo sounds as good as a healthy turbo whistleing

Shaz I am not surprised to see that one is "Still" for sale....

I saw that one when I was looking and my first thought was Oh that poor MR2!
But that is just my opinion I guess someone must have thought something of it to do that to an MR2.
