Thanks for the help guys, but I ended up buying the yellow turbo-charged Spyder that was floating around on Gumtree.

To answer the question of why I didn't grab any of the others, I really needed something that had all the engineering already completed. The police in my area are fairly aggressive when it comes to modified cars, so unless you have all the paperwork to back you up, it ends up costing you a fortune in the long run.

Maj, your car would have been perfect if it was finished :(

The Spyder was only engineered for the ACT, but the guy who sold me the car was kind enough to knock the price of re-engineering it for NSW off the total. Fingers crossed, it should be engineered and registered by Friday!!!

I've been thinking of selling mine, excellent condition body and 99% stock JDM GZE (super charged). Only thing is it's auto and it's not quite finished, but for the right price I'd be happy to finish it off (put transmission in shop for rebuild and install it), no cash needs to be exchanged until its done but as mentioned I would be firm on the price I want, not negotiable.

It came from NSW and in the price I would blue slip it and deliver it anywhere in the Sydney/Wollongong region. Let me know if this sounds what you are after and I can give you more details. Not asking anywhere near as much as those on carsales, and I've only just installed some nice parts on it.
In all honesty I would prefer to keep it, but I have my eye on a more modern handling car to replace it. Will be a regretful sale hence why I'm not advertising this anywhere.

for someone who has a blank cheque, its not hard to get them shipped then re-registered in your state.

I don't want a standardish one. I want a car that someone else has spent all the money and time on but find they never use it.

I want to buy someones pride and joy with all the good gear on it. As long as it is 100% legal in NSW, I'm up for it.

Possibly the reason nobody has posted is because no such AW11 exists that needs nothing done to it :)

I thought there were a few nice ones around lately on Gumtree etc? You should be able to pickup a standardish one that doesn't need much if anything done to it.

I want to buy an AW11 I can use as a daily driver. I just sold my GTS Commodore so I have cash to spare and I need someone to convince me to spend it.

I don't want to have to do ANYTHING with the car when I buy it. I just want to buy and drive a finished project with all the cool stuff included.

The car MUST be an AW11 currently registered in NSW. I have no interest in an SW20.
