I have read that because my last engine ate a bearing its advised to replace the stock warmer/cooler and even my aftermarket item. Is there a way to remove the stock job completely? A new oil warmer/cooler goes for about 800$ and I just don't want to spend that kind of money for something that isn't even plumbed up.

Any ideas?
