My MR2's clutch was replaced without dropping the motor or box. Cost me 2 and 1/2 hrs labor + clutch. But you can remove the box and leave the motor also.

Have you seen this for the turbo?
The NA would be similar, and should give you an idea anyway.

Hey lads, just wondering how hard is it to remove the s54 transmission without dropping the whole motor. Or is it even possible to remove the tranny with the motor on the k-frame? cheers guys lost my license so thought i might just fix some problems.
