(mister2)

Actually, you can find aluminium hub rings "off the shelf" that are the right size <img src="https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/upfiles/smiley/s4.gif" alt="" data-smiley="" />

http://www.ebay.com.au/it...mp;hash=item3f39b9c0d4
Re: Looking for legal 16" staggered rims. (Reddtarga)

One thing to know is that while the Nissan wheels will fit the wheel studs, the hub center is larger than the MR2 hub spigot that is 60.1 mm. If the wheel is fitted like this you may have trouble balancing the wheels.
Concentric hub rings are usually used to fix this with many aftermarket wheels, however you wont find off the shelf hub rings to fit to adapt Nissan wheels to the MR2 hub.
Some people get metal hub rings custom made to fit, however another option would be to buy cheap aluminum rings with the right MR2 center and get the center of the wheel machined to take them as shown in the pics.

Re: Looking for legal 16" staggered rims. (Firthy)

The later model zzw30 had 15" fronts and 16" rears stock. So it seems staggered widths is legal, but maybe because it came OEM it's ok whereas SW20 with stock 15"s wouldn't be?

I like those R32 rims.
Re: Looking for legal 16" staggered rims. (Reddtarga)

Your car looks good Eric. What tyre sizes do you use?

The R32 GTR / GTST 16" staggered set is a popular choice with many owners.
16"tyres to use:
The pic shows them with 205/50R16 and 225/45R16 tyres, a common choice for good steering and ride.

But many people also use an easier to find 225/50R16 on the rear and cop the increased diameter - might look better too.
With those sizes you can easily find matching tyres of the same brand/type F-R
