I am the 3rd owner of this MR2 and have owned it since 2009. It has serviced me well over the last five years and is great fun to drive. I've always wanted to fully restore it, but I have to give up this dream now in favour of a more family friendly car.

This the ideal starting point for your restoration project or could be a parts sink for your existing project.

Mechanical:
The engine is original and sound. Hasn't missed a beat since I've owned it. Transmission was changed back in 2009 when I bought the car and is smooth. The hydrolic braking system was completely overhauled about 2 years ago and is in A1 condition.

Modifications:
Additional 2 6x9 fusion speakers behind seats
dash speakers changed for fusion speakers
wood center council and door handle cups
matte black and carbon fiber vinyl exterior

Known faults:
Some cosmetic damage to paint/vinyl
Handbreak cable recently tore
one door handle opens from inside only (plastic clip connecting handle to lever broke)

The car is currently registered and drives great. I have not taken it through road-worthy as I intend to sell it unregistered.
