Needless to say, work days are too long, and my excitement doesn't help.

So my car is about to sell and I was looking at cheaper running options for a car I could still love and adore and a beautiful MR2 popped up I was intending to buy but someone showed up and bought it with cash before my sale has gone through.

I'm located Newcastle, but willing to travel a bit(Within NSW) For a purchase once I have my money together.
I am not looking for something modded up, and don't really appreciate the mods overly as I would love to do them myself over time, as I like to build a sense of attachment to cars I own, and it seems like the most fun way.
Looking for something fairly clean, not too modded, and obviously made well looked after. The Japanese car scene has made it difficult to find good examples so I thought this would be the best way to go about finding a clean car.
Upon purchase I'd obviously want to become a somewhat active member of the community as I enjoy enthusiasts of all nature, and would love to learn more about the car and possibilities through people.

Needs to be an N/A is for one certain thing, as if I ever choose to go turbo me and a few other mechanics would be doing a conversion. I just want something nice and well looked after, doesn't need to be 100% perfect as even 100% babied cars of that age are not perfect. I just want something reliable, with room for tasteful work I can put towards it, that is in good nick. I won't be moving on from my next car purchase for a while, and I want a car that isn't going to make me hate it before it is wherever I want it to end up.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone with their offers on sale.. I'm not putting down a budget because people tend to raise the price based on budget, and mine is varying based on the car. Thanks guys.
