I just replaced the dial backrounds on my instrument cluster with white ones, if you don't take notice/pictures of where the needles are before taking them off this may cause this problem including your fuel light not coming on. I filled my fuel tank completely before changing these out, you also need to have your cluster plugged in for 5 minutes for the needle to sit in correct position, your needle may have been put back on in the incorrect position.
Re: fuel gauge only reading 3/4 full (Mrskylighter)

Another possibility is that the gauge needle(s) have been removed and put back on in the wrong spot in your instrument cluster. Do you have different gauge faces/overlays or anything?

I know this because it happened to me once a very long time ago :)
Re: fuel gauge only reading 3/4 full (PrivateJoker)

Ok I'll test it when I get home, thanks

Re: fuel gauge only reading 3/4 full (MR2QIK)

The fuel level sensor most likely.
fuel gauge only reading 3/4 full (PrivateJoker)

Hey guys

I've notist when ever I fill up the gauge only goes to 3/4, also my fuel light isn't working I'm assuming they're two separate issues.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should look at first?
