Hi
Considering the limited interest in tomorrow's Run, I am making a call to postpone it until either Sunday 25th May or Sunday 1st June (my preference is 25/5). Perhaps with a bit more lead time we will get a larger roll up. I will post up revised date and details of the Run this evening.
I hope this will not cause disappointment or inconvenience to both of you.

Sorry guys, I have to pull out of the run. Came home to a fine in the mail for exceeding the speed limit by a few kph. Petrol money for the run is now going towards the fine. My next outing with the club will probably be the All Japanese Day :D.

Dodgee,
Welcome and thanks for enquiry about proposed Run next Sunday (18/5/14). For this Run it was planned to check out roads in Beaudesert/Boonah area.
So far the response has been underwhelming (just thee and me so far). It's possible this Run may be postponed until Sunday 25th or June 1st unless there's a sudden rush of interest. I'll check the Forum tonight and will make a call based on responses.

CLUB RUN SUNDAY 18 MAY 2014

Even though the President and Run Manager are escaping overseas for a month to drive the Nurburgring it doesn't mean that the Club Run scheduled for Sunday the 18th of May will have to be re-organised.

In the true spirit of "it's hard to get good help" " /> our substitute Run Manager, the famous Fredhoon, has courageously owned up to a calendar malfunction (sort of like Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction on stage but not as interesting " />) and the greatly involving Fredhoon Memorial Southward Run and Banjo Playing Competition will have to be postponed to a future date.

HOWEVER (and its a big however) the Run will still be on, and our Club Secretary, the ever aerodynamic Groper, will now be leading the way. To maintain Club standards a full Run Sheet has been prepared, so for those who have finally thawed out after the David Hack Classic in Toowoomba, or for those who have not been on a Run for a while (Spyders where are you?) this one will be shorter than most, but with a lot of very nice corners. Run sheets will be sent out via PM based on the Roll Call below as per normal Club procedures.

Meeting place will at the Oxley McDonalds, 54 Factory Loop Road, Oxley, but with cars parked in the Harvey Norman car park across the road. Just watch out for the Rottweiler disguised as a Harvey Norman employee who claims that we shouldn't use the unsigned, unofficial employee car park for our Run starts.
Meeting time will be 9.00am for a 9.30am departure.

Also, to prevent any more wardrobe/calendar malfunctions don't forget our participation in the All Japanese Day at Earnshaw State College, Banyo on Sunday the 8th of June 2014. This is always a great day and gives us a chance to show the cars off against all the (dare we say the words on this Forum) Skylines and Mazda's.
