(BEN77)

Has microtech LT10c ECU with Microtech X4 ignitor box and the 4 bosch ignition coils. Need the RPM to set the boost parameters in the Apexi Avcr. I am trying to post some photos and have shared these

https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/t1.0-9/988867_515597338546074_348966427475412181_n.jpg

http://microtechefi.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35&product_id=50

Sounds like if I pulled a signal from one of the bosch coils lines out of the X4 then it should get the right signal to the avcr and I should be able to use that for the guage cluster in the car itself since I have no working tacho at the moment.

I'm just not to sure where to get the signal from as the LT10c is pumping out a 5v ac signal and I don't want to blow the AVCR or give the ecu back EMF basically.

Re: microtech with avcr no rpm? Do you need rpms for the boost controller to function correctly?
microtech with avcr no rpm? (BEN77)

Hi guys, i have a microtech LT10c already installed in a recently purchased sw20 3sgte and im trying to get the avcr to show revs and eventually get the boost raised.

Problem is the rpm out of the microtech to the avcr - No matter what setting there is no rpm on the avcr. I have googled tacho boosters and have created a circuit however after install still nothing. Does anybody know what the avcr is likely work with? Is there a specific magic box to convert the rpm from the microtech to feed to the avcr?
