Thanks to everyone who came to this event today. It was a perfect day for a cruise and some karting!

The venue only recently installed lap timing equipment, and it's a great setup where they email the results to each driver. That's where I got the following info from.
The names in bold are those who I know are on this forum.

Session 1 best lap times:
1.robk: 52.843
2.WRCTME: 53.320

Does anyone know whether they allow GoPro's on the track? I got told to take mine off at Go Karts Go at Broadmeadow the other day.

I'm not sure. I know that Picton karts didn't mind when Dudeman used his GoPro, but I don't know about this place. You can just bring it along anyway and see what happens.

For the month of May, we will be go-karting at the "Butterfly Farm Indy 800 Kart Track" in Wilberforce, near Windsor.

Meeting point: "The Porter Scenic Lookout" at Dural
Meeting date: Saturday 24th May
Meeting time: 12:00pm
Departure time: 12:30pm

After departing from the meeting location, we will do a short run to the go-karting location, via Cattai Ridge Road.
Everyone must arrive at the go karts no later than 1:30pm sharp.
Please RSVP before 17th May! The venue needs to know numbers, especially whether we will have 10+ people karting.

The price is $65 for 30 minutes (2x 15 minute sessions) or $40 for one 15 minute session, plus a $5 license fee. If we can get a group of 10+ people then there is a saving of $5 per person.
There will be a trophy for the driver who achieves the fastest lap time!

Everyone must wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, and enclosed lace-up shoes.
According to the Butterfly Farm website, "the kiosk offers a variety of food and drink", in case anyone gets hungry.

Attention members from Newcastle:
The go-karting track is located on Wilberforce Road, which is at the southern end of Putty Road. This would be a good excuse to drive from Newcastle to the go-karts via Putty Road!
