Just a matter or re-pinning some of the wires. If your adapting a Gen 1/2 Engine loom there is a little more work involved, but it can be done.&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/107814</link><pubDate>Thu, 10 Apr 2014 16:21:48 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Gen1 to Gen3 (just_ace)</title><description>The sw20 only came with a gen2 gte.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If your fitting a gen3 engine but dont have the wiring harness for it you can use the old gen2 loom and fit a patch harness or repin the ecu plugs to suit the gen3 ecu along with running extra wires for the air intake temp sensor etc.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Do you have the piggy back ecu already? If not id suggest using a haltech sprint ech instead. If not, what are the differences between harnesses?&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;P.S.
