The reverse switch is mounted on top of the gearbox. I think it might be black in colour.

What & where is the sensor or switch that so the car knows reverse gear is enabled (and puts on the reverse lights, etc).

My car doesn't know when its in reverse atm so the reverse lights/camera aren't operating. Cheers.
