That or you need to be a business for import/export of exotic cars. Even though we like to think they are mr2's aren't limited exotic cars.

Compliance costs are pretty negligible for UK cars to here, but shipping is somewhere between $4000 to $6000.
Re: 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOYOTA MR2 SW20 (MR2QIK)

If you can prove you're migrating to Aus & have owned it registered for 1yr then yes with prior approval.

What's special about it? May not be viable if its high mileage & not in great condition considering they're available locally. I'd imagine shipping would be considerably more expensive than Japan & add compliance costs etc which would all work out to be more expensive than the cars UK value.

Re: 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOYOTA MR2 SW20 (dennis the menace)

Short answer then . . . If you want to send it to a buyer here - it won't happen.

You can do it under the 'personal import scheme' if it's your personal import only.
Re: 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOYOTA MR2 SW20 (dennis the menace)

Depends on a whole lot of things.

Which state in Australia? Are you an Aussie returning home, or another nationality planing a long-term stay? How long have you owned the car? It isn't impossible, just difficult . . .
10TH ANNIVERSARY TOYOTA MR2 SW20 (gary.bagley)

I hope someone on here will e able to enlighten me i am in the uk
i am trying to find out if i can export my 1996 10th anniversary into Australia
