This was great and good to meet Adam and two other young blokes all in AW11s and obviously having a ball. Ive never seen so many extremely powerfull vehicles having a go down the straights. Late model holden supercharged 580 hp. 1080 lb ft. lined up with turbo 6 ford. Many other monsters too. About 150 entries. Yes it was very busy. I was most fortunate to be invited for about 10 or 12 laps as a passenger. Fantastic!!! Never got killed . Not even once. Highly recommended for a look. Cheers.

Anyone planning on going to the March 15th Circuit and Coffee?

I'll definately be there as I've paid my entry, and the car is going fine.

Would be good to see some other MR2s, but if not, I guess I'll be flying the flag anyway, and enjoying some track work.

I havn't been to one of these Circuit and Coffees before, I might end up just skipping the 'coffee' part.

Least it wasnt a brand new one that got killed by a fuel leak 20min after it being installed like my last one lol.

Looks like jan wasnt meant to be for a few of us.

Will make a new thread for the feb one this week and see if a few of us can make it. Im going to hold off on my turbo change just so i can be sure to make the feb one.

Well this DS just wasnt meant to be for me. Turns put my clutch is toast, box is coming off next week and new clutch and flywheel going on so i can make the Feb meet.

Dom will be out there on Sunday carrying the adub flag.

DS have confirmed the Feb meet and i will update this thread next week to see if we can get some more of you mr2 guys out there in feb :)

Adam, would be really good to see another MR2 out there, hope you can make it in Feb. :)

I am pushing it for this weekend now, I have the car going to Hart Transmissions on Thursday to replace the clutch master cylinder. I am suss that it's causing my clutch slipping, there is no freeplay at all and I can't adjust any into it.

I am keeping my fingers crossed Clint works his magic and I can make it this weekend.

As I said earlier on DS seem to be doing these monthly now and honestly it's really really fun. And $60 for 1.5hrs on a track, well that's just a bargain.

I'm planning to do a few track days this year, although it doesn't look like the car will be ready for the 19th (this Sunday)
Hopefully by February though.

Hey Everyone,

Been to a couple of the downshift circuit and coffee sessions at qld raceway and i have to say they are a great morning out and some of the most fun you can legally have with our cars.

Both times i have been i have been the only mr2 on the track, would be great to see some more out there. Its just $60 for a full hour and a half track time.

They have another one on Jan 19th and tickets can be bought below.

I know some will be heading down south for the mr2 track day in jan, but for those not would be great to see you out at qld raceway. :)
