Hey Gatesys,

I'm in need of a few parts for a 1991 NA SW20:
-Stock exhaust system
-Interior wiring loom (or the power window plug with 15-20cm's of wiring attached)
-Dashboard (one of the previous owners cut the dash above the glove box and installed every gauge known to man, including boost gauge on a NA and none of them are plugged in, clearly for show -.-)
-Suspension original or aftermarket and I don't mind if its 2nd hand

Does anyone know if you can use a rev 5 shift boot on a rev1/2 SW20?

The shift boots are all the same

There is a difference, the rev1/2's are different due to the longer shaft length, the rev3/4/5 ones have a plastic ring that sits on the collar on the shaft the gearknob meets up to hard.

in regards to using it on a rev 2 gear surround, mines perfect with no issues. Ill let you determine for yourself tho,

What happens where the top of your rev 5 shift boot meets the shift knob on your rev 2? Does the plastic ring on the shift boot get sandwiched in there or does it float?
