Respect where respect is due. K20's are a great motor with a good flowing cylinder head. The motor on the SW20 came off an already built Honda (so it's already been banged on for a bit), the main weakness is the PPG dog box apparently, the same one completely let go on a Honda.

The big question is how long will it stay together. Plenty of motors make big horse power for 10 seconds or less, but how many of them do it for hours on end ;)

the advantage with the k20 would be the fact that it is all alloy, so it probably has a 30kg+ less weight than a xsgte.

The 3sgte has been pushed to over 1000HP before. Guys in the US running 800/900+ HP at the wheels :)

seen two k20 powered mr2's on youtube this one takes the lead though. Interesting to see if someone could make similar power out of a 3sgte or 5sgte.
