I have some nice pictures of the Spyders that regularly come along on our runs, if you want them, let me know where to send them, and i will happily do so....
Also, whilst reading the content, made me think as I have been a member of MG car Clubs in the past, that perhaps at the AGM we could ask the members what they think of having a champion for each car type, AW11, SW20, or Spyder. They do this quite well, in that new members seeking specific info can be pointed in a direction that someone can assist in for their specific car. Not that this detracts from the club at all, but people tend to communicate better when you have a common denominator (the type of car you drive) and it is just a natural progression that at runs, i have had some real interesting chats to people who own similar cars to mine about problems / fixes and the best place to find this or that? case in point recently windows not working and soft top issues?? the guys with the other two types of MR2 would not be remotely interested in such conversations, but i am sure rather theirs......Just a suggestion

Hope to see you all on the 8th December, I am sure you will collect annual fees then?
Dave
NEW QUEENSLAND CLUB WEBSITE (tralfaz)

NEW QUEENSLAND CLUB WEBSITE

After months of work the Club in Queensland now has a new website, which can be viewed by clicking on the link:

mr2club.com.au/qld

Although the Forum is intended to remain the principal means of communication (the new website has a direct link on the front page to the Queensland pages of the Forum) the intention has been to create an alternative and possibly more direct way to find the Club in Queensland. People visiting the website are encouraged to visit the Forum, and the Forum will be linked to the website soon.

"Activities" posted on the Forum will be mirrored under "Events" on the website, plus there is a capacity for us to create a Gallery of photos which reflect directly what the Club in Queensland has done. If you want to check out the Gallery at the moment you will see a record of the recent 2013 Nationals. In coming weeks we will be loading photos of past Qld Runs.

The next three months are considered to be part of the website development phase so if you have any comments, suggestions, etc; then please let me know via PM.

I'd like to thank Anthony Oh for his excellent contribution to making this happen, and for his photos of the Nationals. If you wonder who had the MR2 disguised as a white Toyota 86 that features prominently in some Nationals pictures then I will say no more. Thanks again Anthony for your continuing support and assistance.

Walter
