Thanks for the tips. I think I will have to get a list together of bits to order from that guy in the UK. There are quite a lot of bits missing on mine. The previous owner decided to toss out a lot of bits to save weight. :(

AFAIK you can still get these from Toyota; any 1985 mk1a MR2 uses it, USDM or not.

A bit pricey though; $77 from Lithia Toyota Parts. Part number is 55405-17010-01.

I realise this is a long shot, but does anyone have a decent radio surround to suit my 1985 ex-US AW11. It's the Mk1a type for single DIN radio and looks like this:
