You just need the IGT signal

or the - terminal from the coil.

I still have not installed mine as im having trouble finding the ignitor signal and i cnt read diagrams :(

I didnt put mine into a MR2 so cant really help with what wire is for the tacho in the dash.

I can tell you that in the fuse box in the engine bay there is 2 white plugs and on the larger one there is a solid black wire witch goes to the tacho

Im also very happy with this shift light

How did everyone go installing these? I had a go at it tonight and I have to admit once I had the cluster out I really had no idea and thought it'd be better to see how you all went before randomly splicing lines to see what happens?

Any chance of an idiots guide to installation? :)

I have been waiting for a PM/email from you. I did not know they had been shipped out to members.
I PM'd you my address in October 26. I was wondering why it was taking so long for the shift light to arrive.

Edit:
I see what's happened. You PM'd me on the 31st October asking for my address and me not giving it again has probably fouled things up. My fault, was not following instructions.

First glance at my BGB, shows at first difference being connector B=10pins, connector C=13 pins. I'll work through the differences after luch, unless somebody beats me to it.

I'm guessing that you're cluster ISN'T the same as the your diagram. If you've got an igniter signal from B10, which theoretically is the signal TO the cruise control computer it certainly seems confusing.

I've tapped into A3 to try to get the km/h signal. But it's not working... I can't figure out what it else it could be. Unless Its the right wire and I'm doing something wrong.

But B10 appears to be working for my rpm signal fine.

Interesting last night was testing the pins. And i got the rpm signal from B10. Will test it tonight when i take it out for a drive and let you know.
