Mark 5 Sender Unit in UK

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help.  Looking for a Cortina Mark5 sender unit. Need to replace the one we have but I'm failing miserably.  
Is there an alternative we can use, as it seems these are like hen's teeth.
Any info would be very much appreciated,
