Found out today that the RTA is seriously considering lowering all speed limits by 10kph. So,
40 kph becomes 30,
50 kph becomes 40,
60 kph becomes 50,
80 kph becomes 70.
Not sure about the higher limits.
The spin version: The idea is to increase safety and to reduce vehicle carbon output.
