XXX "Heavy Duty" 711M

Hey guys, On Ebay at the moment there is a Xflow for sale that the seller is calling a Heavy Duty 711M engine due to the fact that it has three large X's on the block just above the mount on the exhaust side(photo supplied) said it came out of a van. xflow induction!

hi guys, im starting to play around with my 1600 and i am planning on some decent headwork, maybe a cam, extractors which are already on the car, and a 2inch exhuast.... but im not sure whats the best cost affective induction, i was thinking a 32 36 gt webber, but in doing this do i need a new manif..

Crossflow engine ID

Hi All Picked up a crossflow 681F 6015DA. Has a twin choke weber (italian) on original FoMoCo manifold. From what I can find out this means mk2 tina engine, but anyone know what the DA is for? meant to have had a bit of work done to it so im wondering whether it could be a GT lump? Any help apprec..

I am new on the forum, come from yorkshire. I have a few old fords a prefect e93a an Anglia 105E i co own with a mate and three kit cars all running ford engines of one type or another. I have just purchased a kit car with a ford 1600 x flow engine fitted, it was a non runner, we just started it aft..

xflow sumps??

hello, Here's a pic of my 1976 1600 sump. The other sump I have (1975 ghia ) is missing the circled part. I plan to use the 76 sump because the 1975 one has a stripped thread for drain bolt. Xflow A68 cam

I was tidying up the shed a bit last night and came across a cam wrapped in bubble wrap. I'd forgotten I had it. On the end it had A68 stamped on it. Does anyone know if this means anything? I've heard of the A2 one, but am just wondering about specs on the A68 if anyone knew anything...

Howdy all, Just wondering if someone can maybee enlighten me with some information regarding the endura e engine. From what ive managed to find out is that its a pre-crossflow design (not sure what that means). i know they are fairly difficult to modify but just wanted to know if there are any part..

Can anyone tell me why the ACL xflow head gasket has small holes or no holes for water galleries between block & head?..
