gday guys, i bought a 1600 xflow, with 40thou bore, flat top pistons, all the goodies, it uses a late model head with chambers machined into it. I got the newest issue of classic fords, and they have a right up about these motors, and gives you a chart of inlet and exhuast port sizes, and what power..

Which engine mounts?

Hi all Just took 1300 out of my mk1, going to replace it with a 1600. The 1300 had rectangular rubber mounts, I think i need the round rubber mounts and brackets, am i right? I cant remember which side the longest mount goes on , could anyone verify this please...

cortina crossflow into escort

Hi all Got a 1600 crossflow from a mk2 tina to go in place of the tired 1300 into my mk1 escort Got a escort sump and pick up pipe, believe have to re drill dipstick hole etc, anyone done this conversion? Got no dizzy with 1600 so gona use 1300 one if itll fit? Thanks..
