Capri V8 project

so i thought i would document my build, its a good way to network and get feedback from others.So the car is a 1984 MK3 Capri Janspeed turbo, plan is a full on resto mod so the purists best leave now lol, what i am trying to achieve, is, old school capri looks, with modern car performance and luxury..

Grecian gold v6

I brought this one a while back. Work has eased off a little so I’ve been able to make a start. An original Grecian gold V6. I put it on the rotisserie - cleaned up and sprayed the floor (underneath) and replaced the 2 A pillars. Replaced the 2 guards..

Pewter capri

That v6 capri on ebay ( in Broome) the paint code is K (wild plum?) but the trim code is F - the trim appears to be red - but red trim and wild plum? hmmm.... (the bonnet etc - is 1972, seats are low backs so >71)..

ok boys had bit of time this morning so thought id try get my pics together and post the journeybrought this as it was a number matching capri and the only thing it had going for itstarted with this looked half ok untill you dug deeper the whole left side was bogged up and was pretty thick on there ..
