Duratec ignition only ECU

This maybe have been covered before, but has anyone run carbs and a Megajolt style ECU to control the ignition and VCT on a Duratec? Can anyone advise the physical differences between the 2.0ly, 2.3lt & 2.5lt Duratecs? Thanks Craig..

Duratec gearbox options

Apart from the obvious aftermarket bellhousings, are there any rear wheel drive gearboxes that will bolt up to the Duratec? Thanks Craig..

EFI Zetec manifold

1.8lt vs 2.0lt zetec

Can anyone confirm with certainty that the 1.8lt zetec block cant be bored out to 2.0lt's? I would find it strange that ford would have two different castings, althought given some of the strange things they have done in the past anything is possible. :-) Thanks Craig..

Replacing Zetec Head-gasket

Hi Does anyone have an excerpt of a manual for replacing the headgasket on a blacktop zetec? I get the general idea but dont have the bolt removal sequence or torque settings. Am i correct in thinking that once the timing belt is off the head will come off with cams and valve gear intact? I..

O ringed block without O rings

The next thing on this re-rebuild is my block has been machined for O rings but has been skimmed afterwards so the groove is no longer deep enough. I have been told it is pretty hard to remachine that groove to suit. So my quesition is can I run a oringed block with just a normal headgasket or is it..

Machining standard yb pistons

Im considering getting 5 thou taken of my mahle pistons aswell as getting valve cutouts done. Does anyone see any possible problems doing this and also would anyone have measurements for the cutouts by any chance?..

fuel line size

What size fuel line would be best for running twin 45's on a cosworth headed pinto ? I have a 1/4" line running my warm pinto engine now. Do i need to upgrade ? The car will see excusions to the odd hill climb and track days ? Fahley..
