before I buy a new one or make one I was just wondering if anybody has one they might want to sell to suit the pinto engine cheers..

PINTO EFI PARTS

Hello Everybody, Looking to convert my MK2 Ghia to EFI, was after a sierra manifold with any other parts if anybody has anything for sale please let me know. Find attached a from my engine builder for specs of my current engine. I am located in Melbourne but happy to pay for postage. Any help/advice..

Hi guys ive recently got my pinto back for the rs and was wondering if I should replace the rods they took it out to 60thou over and its got a stage 3 head on it It wont be getting a hiding all the time just a slight tickle at the track every now and then thats about it should I bother or just whack..

tool for removing Pinto Engine Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley

hi guys, i've just got a new timing belt kit, got most things off including the harmonic balancer, the kit came with a new Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley and two seals, where can i get the fine star allen key tool from? and what size is it? and the best way to get the main seal out? cheers..

what to look for in buying a rebuild pinto

hi guys, im looking at a rebuild 2ltr pinto with mild cam, which is said it was rebuild in 2013 and been sitting in dry storage, has $3g in receiptsmy concerns are it's been sitting for 5 years and never ran, what can go wrong with these sitting for so long? would the gaskets have dry rot?..

Pinto 2L setup with lower than expected HP

Hi There, Got a 2L pinto FR32 CamWeber Twin 45DCOEExtractors & Exhaust Getting 65kW (90HP ish) 216 N.m of Torque Is this a reasonable figure or should it be looking a bit higher than that? Some basic tests found vacuum was all sweet and compression was 9.8, 10.1,10.2,10.4 so should b..

No oil pressure at idle

Just installed rebuilt Pinto into mk2 van. Started it up and oil light stays on. Shut it down immediately. Removed oil pressure sender and screwed in a pressure gauge, no pressure on idle, but jumps up if given a quick rev. Any suggestions?Hate to think of having to remove the engine and strip again..
