'81 Mercury Capri arrives!

Well, after more than 2 & a 1/2 months since first finding her in LA, my new Capri is arriving at home tomorrow, Monday. My V6 sits around a lot of the time. I have just pulled the motor down, the water pump is corroded, the thermostat housing & valley cover.Does any body know of a coolant that does not corrode e.g, causing electrolisis on alloy? Timing cover bearing

Just need some information on the bearing inside the timing cover, the one the supports the idler pully. I need to change it as it is getting very noisy, is this a hard job and do I need ant special tools? Scott..

72GT Seat Mounts

I have a 72GT V6 and a 69GT 1600 Automatic. The seat mounts between the 2 cars are not the same. The V6 has had steel angles welded to the floor and the seats have been mounted onto these angles.
