another silver fox

I picked up this one yesterday - $2000 - originally a go green with brown interior. Now obviously silver fox with saas front seats and the split rear seat, door & quarter trims have been trimmed in kind. Runs nice - on dual fuel. Quite a nice car...

V6 Rear Wheel Bearings

I have just had to replace the rear axle bearings in my 3000E as they whined like a toddler on a roadtrip without a wiggles tape. As my local bearing guy did not have a listing on the capri, well he did but the description did not make sense, I got my axles out and had them measured up. No problem f..

Hi Guys, I'm in a dilemma re my GTV6 Delete D Port 1972 Wild Plum CK17ME in regards to PAINT JOB. It's showing severe aging at Guards in the area where you'd expect to see an aerial, and has spots of rust behind rear wheels and on guards in usual places, all of which can be treated to stop it spread..

I was driving past and saw this today, some people do have some strange ideas! I do recall this capri ute painted previously in purple (I am assuming it is the same one), but that was a while ago and from memory it had a leyland 4.4 litre V8...

Head gasket fit up V6

Hi all,I have just fitted some new head gaskets, followed the tighten sequence as per the manual. Started the engine got it to running temp and re-torqued as per the book and the damn things leak water forward of both 1 and 4 cyclinder pots[sm=icon_smile_bugout.gif. Capri barnfind info needed

Hi all, a mate of a mate has discovered a capri in an elderly neighbours shed, the ladies hubby owned it from new and after he died it was left in the shed. Apparantly it has V6 engine, disc brakes all round and a hollinger gearbox, the lady says its all original, does anyone know what model this is..
