How do I ID a 2 piece tail shaft

Hi fellas, I've got a 2 piece tail shaft that came with some stuff I got but I dont know if its v6 or 4cyl. Is there any way to identify it? Maybe by length or diameter?..

Need advice and help.

I have a 89-90 Ford Capri SA. I recently went to get bushes done on my sway bar and found out that i dont have one. Should there be one on my car? I have got my hands on a second hand sway bar and asked to be given everything to put it in to my car, at which I didnot receive it all and need the brac..

Brake pedal problems

Hi Guys, Here is the problem I have with my MK1 V6 project.I have replaced the booster (reco), master cylinder (new aftermarket), rear wheel cylinders, flex lines and had the calipers reconditioned. I have bled the brakes and have a realy good pedal, it;s not spongy all the air is out of the system ..

V6 Timing Gear - Steel or Alloy?

Hello All, Am trying to get back into my long-term (forever!) project. Would like some advice and thoughts on whether to go down the steel or aluminium timing gear option? Have read various articles and they all say that up-grading is a must, so really looking at whether Steel or Aluminium is better..

v6 on gumtree

Its surprising that original v6's like this are still out there but here's another - on gum tree. both a pillars appear shot, rear wheel arches rusty etc, so its a heavy restoration project. Alloy Timing Gear Noise

Do these gears in a V6 eventually get a bit quieter? I'm turning heads at the moment but for all the wrong reasons...
