Capri spring type

Hi all, I've just picked up some Capri struts, they look very original and have blue springs. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what model Capri they might be from? I.e. v6, 2l or 1600. And how would the springs go if I used them in an escort? Any info greatly appreciated...
