Bonnet latches

Hi having an issue with my bonnet latch. It's on a 8/71 Capri with forward to back latch. It's got a visible spring but now for some reason the spring just pops out which can allow the bonnet to fly up. Thankfully it's got the twist bonnet locks. All my others here have a different setup..

Capri inner scuttle repair

I need to repair rust in the inner scuttle area on my Capri. It looks like the only way to access it is by removing a section of the outer scuttle first.It seems this is a common rust area on the Capri as water gets trapped in there. What have you guy's successfully used to prevent rust reoccurring ..

hey all i guess most who are doing resto's have come across there wiper , fan , map light , light etc switches that have lost there chrome and faded out as well so looking to buy new ones the jaw almost drop out at either 200 odd for nos or the other ones refurbished for 65 pounds is all i can see t..

1970 V6 Bonnet motif

Is there any easy way to apply as well as correctly align and place the FORD motif.I have my old wording with the posts, but have a new repainted fiberglass bonnet, want to make sure they are aligned correctly, it appears some pics I have seen these can line up in a straight line and others are slig..

Capri Information

Just starting to dismantle 1970 Capri for rebuild , after information regarding best fitments for rebuild. Presently have S Type Jag , intention to fit v6 engine and auto gearbox to capri. Any advise , possible issues would be appreciated. Also suspension up grades front end ,rear end, diff upgrades..

engine paint color code etc

hey all im wondering what is the original gt v6 late 72 model engine color .. i see some that are the deep blue ford engine color and also the lite blue ford engine paint.. mine is black with blue rocker covers i ve seen red covers on blue and black engines as well as all blue engine etc does anybod..
