dummy side vents

i got a set of dummy side vents and was looking at getting a friend of mine to make some up on his mill was thinking of polished alloy ones or just out of steel and getting them chromed upill keep you boys informed on the outcome of how it goes..

sill badges /clock

does anybody know where to get the capri sill badges from ... or anybody got some spares ... even if there not in great shape i can re chrome them or get some milled up cheers the console clock is that a 52mm body or is it 52 mm face i was thinking its the metal body that 52mm not the face..

V6 Clutch Cable

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could post a photo of a correctly installed clutch cable on a Mk1 V6. I have a new one (Burtons) ready to install to replace a slightly burnt one, however the Haynes manual I have doesn't show or describe how the cable is routed through the extractors etc. The new cable..

Capri D windows

I will be removing the D windows from my Capri in the next couple of days however they are glued in.Are they normally glued in or are they supposed to have a rubber seal? Although the glass looks too large to fit in the aperture with a seal...

Were extractors standard on V6?

Hi GuysI just took my car for relicensing and they said I need a permit for the extractors, but I thought they were fitted from factory on the v6. Does anyone know if they were standard or not, and if standard, any documentation I can show them.Thanks..

Capri Mk1 chrome bumper bolts.

Hi guys, anyone know where you can get chrome bumper bolts for 72 V6. Are they the same as Escorts? Mine are a bit tardy and couple have snapped during removal. Cheers PSR..

Facelift 1.5 to standard 3ltr differences.

Can anyone tell me what differences their are between the two. Especially where the chassis stamps should be.
