2 litre conversion

I have myself a 2litre motor to replace my 1600 it came with (I hope) all the bits and pieces. As it is out of a mk3 it has a 2 piece tail shaft with it the questions are Is it possible to use the mk3 tail shaft & how would it anchor to the bottom or is the original shaft able to be used also is ..

Capri brochure.

Ebay has had a brochure for the 72 models this week and I thought it would be nice to have. From previous austions I estimated about $50. When it went past $160 I said to myself, "I really dont need this anyway." Final price was about $220. Eeek!..

capr 1600 to 2l swap

Looking at swapping the 1600 for a pinto comes with complete drive train radiator to shaft no dif. Can I use the 1600 gearbox mount (support,x-member)or do I need a 2l one also my radiator is newly rebuilt would it handle the pinto thanks john..

Mk1 Capri Dash Switches

What do you do with the dash rocker switches in a Mk1 Capri ??? Can they be bought new or is a case of refurbing what you have ???..

Front strut inserts what is everyone using?

Whilst in progress of doing my rebuild , thought I'd replace the inserts whilst everything is apart.I know of Pedders what else is reasonably priced and aimed at the sporty drives thrashing up a hill....
