Fiesta ST 17" Onto MK2

I'm looking at putting a set of 17" Fiesta ST Rims onto my MK2 Escort. Does anyone know if these will actually fit under the fenders? My fenders are standard. My other concern is will they catch against the shock Anybody have a set on their MK2? Thanks...

Hey guys,just wanted to know if anyone has gotten there front escort standard 4 stud hubs plug welded and redrilled to either a ford 5 stud pattern or other pattern.If so how did it go,worked out well???Also where could i get this done and roughly what sort of coin would i be looking at?cheers..
