15mm or 17mm alternator shaft?

Hey guys just wondering how to tell if my altinator is a 15mm shalf or 17mm, as im going to buy a gilmer drive kit, and there is two, one for a 15mm alt. shaft and 17mm. How do i find out what mine is? Cheers...

Tierod ends

Are there two types of tierod ends for the mk2 escort, as bought a set from repco and just wheeling it around the Shead has flogged them out.They had a 16mm taper, and it looks like the old ones had a 18mm taper is that right.Tierod ends..

Fuel Sender Removal?

Can anyone tell me how hard it is to remove the sender unit from a mark II escort (droptank) and replace it? can it be done without removing the tank? RS steering wheels

is there a difference between the steering shaft on a mk1 to a mk2 escort? We bought an rs wheel to put onto the 1976 mk2 to replace the small sports steering wheel on the car when we got it, Went to fit it tonight and the RS wheel won't fit, The id is around 18mm where as the one that came off the ..
